Giving 1,000 gifts to households in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Buddha's Birthday

At the “Love Market”, the Social Charity Committee presented 1,000 gifts to poor households, near-poor households, disabled people, and households in difficult circumstances in Soc Trang city. Each gift is worth 500,000 VND; including rice, instant noodles, sugar, MSG, cooking oil, soy sauce... This is a humane and good activity of pagodas, Buddhists and benefactors towards the poor and disadvantaged in society, with the hope that the gifts will contribute to sharing difficulties with people in daily life, giving them more motivation to strive to stabilize their lives.

On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded a certificate of merit to the Social Charity Board under the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee also awarded certificates of merit to organizations, individuals and benefactors who participated in supporting the market.
