The fields with many occupational accidents are construction, mechanics, processing, preserving aquatic products, exploiting and producing wood products, electricity, etc. The main cause of occupational accidents is that units and enterprises have not yet developed and applied occupational safety and health processes and solutions; workers have not strictly followed the regulations and safe working procedures. At the same time, there are still situations where enterprises have not conducted occupational safety and health training and first aid for workers; have not equipped or fully used personal protective equipment when working. In addition, machinery and equipment in some units and enterprises are not guaranteed, there are many risks and dangers of losing occupational safety and health; working conditions of workers are still stressful and tiring; Workers are subjective and lack concentration while working...

Enhanced safety measures

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, in the coming time, the whole province will focus on implementing the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2025 (from May 1 to 31) with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace". Thereby, to enhance prevention, enhance the responsibility of employers in self-inspection, assessment, and control of occupational safety and health risks, limit occupational accidents and occupational diseases. At the same time, create a peak period of communication activities, raise awareness and compliance with occupational safety and health laws; promote specific action programs on occupational safety and health, prevention of occupational accidents and diseases.
