Training on people's jury work, phase 1 - 2025

On May 28, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Court held a training conference on people's jury work, phase 1 - 2025.

During the 2 days, nearly 240 people's jurors of the 2-level provincial People's Courts listened to Dr. and Judge Le Hoang Tan (High-level People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City) share experiences in resolving and adjudicating complicated civil and administrative cases; answering some questions about civil, civil proceedings, and administrative proceedings such as: Cases of issuing decisions to suspend case settlement; handling litigation costs when deciding to suspend case settlement; jurisdiction to resolve disputes over real estate after separation and merger of administrative units; cases exceeding the initial request for lawsuit; the right to make independent requests of people with related rights and obligations; applying temporary emergency measures to prohibit the transfer of property rights... The leaders of the provincial People's Court also spent time drawing experience in adjudicating types of cases that have been annulled or amended in the past.

The conference aims to create conditions for people's jurors to grasp new legal issues, clarify remaining legal issues, and contribute to judges' excellent completion of trial tasks.
