Training on technical process of fattening cattle with silage

Tuy An District Farmers' Association in coordination with the Science and Technology Center (Department of Science and Technology) has just organized a training course on the process of fattening cows with corn silage for 30 farmer members in An Chan commune.

 

At the training session, technical staff of the Science and Technology Center introduced and guided the process of fattening cattle using corn silage as feed; provided knowledge on cattle fattening methods; determined appropriate rations for each type of fattening cattle such as: fattening dairy calves, fattening beef calves after weaning, fattening heifers, fattening cull cattle; guided and treated some common diseases in the process of fattening cattle such as: xenophobia, rumen overeating, rumen bloating; and viewed some effective cattle fattening models in localities in the province...

 

The training course helps members realize the importance of applying techniques in cattle farming as well as processing cattle feed, which brings much higher economic efficiency than traditional farming.
