Training on proactive communication to solve social issues related to women

The conference was attended by 80 delegates including officials of the Women's Union at all levels in Thu Dau Mot City, propagandists and collaborators of the Women's Union in Thu Dau Mot City.

Master Nguyen Thi Oanh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Women's Academy Branch, provided knowledge and skills to delegates.

At the conference, delegates were provided with knowledge and skills in promoting child-rearing, improving parents' skills in problem solving; enhancing self-help and mutual support, preventing violence against children to nurture children to develop appropriately for each age for parents by Master Nguyen Thi Oanh, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Women's Academy Branch.

In addition, delegates were also informed about social issues such as: violence, child abuse, especially child sexual abuse; domestic violence, gender-based violence; moral and lifestyle degradation in society; Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, Law on Marriage and Family and a number of other social issues...

The conference aims to promote and improve the necessary knowledge and skills for cadres, members and women; help cadres, propagandists and collaborators of the association share experiences, good practices and propose creative solutions to solve the issues of concern to women in the locality as well as the whole society today.
