Focus on completing political tasks in the last months of the year

From the beginning of the year, Emulation Block No. VI has received close attention from the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in guiding the implementation of emulation and reward work and creating conditions for members of the Block to perform well their political, professional and key tasks, contributing to the overall development of the Natural Resources and Environment Sector.

Mr. Ngo Sy Cuong, Chairman of Vietnam Natural Resources and Environment One Member Co., Ltd., Head of Emulation Block No. VI, spoke at the Conference.

The Bloc has signed an emulation covenant since the beginning of 2023, completed the Bloc Chief and Deputy Bloc Chief, approved regulations and launched the emulation movement for the entire Bloc with the theme "Solidarity, discipline, innovation, creativity, digital transformation, green transformation". Strengthening coordination between Party organizations, authorities and mass organizations in launching and implementing extensive, practical and effective emulation movements; ensuring that emulation and reward activities are truly a driving force for development to contribute to the successful implementation of political tasks of agencies and units in the Bloc.

In addition, units and agencies in the Bloc continue to promote the implementation of the emulation movement "cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to practice office culture", "cultural agency", through which cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers compete to practice office culture, work professionally, dedicatedly, and exemplary... many units in the Bloc have achieved outstanding achievements.

Typically, Vietnam Resources and Environment Company Limited with the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" and proactively implements national digital transformation... or Vietnam Resources - Environment and Map Publishing House Company Limited organized a series of activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2023 with the theme "Resources - Environment Books with Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day", creating a good effect in maintaining the habit of reading books.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh, Specialist of the Department of Organization and Personnel, in charge of emulation and reward work of Block VI, spoke at the Conference.

Meanwhile, press and media units, typically the Natural Resources and Environment Newspaper, have launched the 5th press contest "Keeping the blue of the sea" in 2023 - 2024 with the theme "Joining hands to protect the ocean - for a greener Vietnam"; successfully organized the 7th forum "Managers - Journalists - Enterprises with Natural Resources and Environment" and the Ceremony to award 4,000 freshwater tanks to offshore fishermen in Phu Yen province. It is known that in the near future, the Natural Resources and Environment Newspaper will organize a series of activities for the Talk Show "Press and media accompany businesses in sustainable green development", with the theme: Action towards Net Zero; Launching the “Green Development Journalism” Club and launching the first “Green Development Journalism” award in 2023 – 2025. And the Natural Resources and Environment Magazine with the Project “Planting one billion trees in the period 2021 – 2025”; Green pagoda, green school programs… are very meaningful and practical.

Implementing Plan No. 03 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on building and replicating advanced models in the period of 2021-2025, agencies and units have implemented the plan and registered advanced models in the period of 2021-2025. In addition, continue to recognize and promptly honor outstanding collectives and individuals in the emulation movement to encourage and arouse the spirit of patriotic emulation in production and labor, contributing to building sustainable development of agencies and units.

In particular, the two agencies of the Ministry's Newspaper and Magazine have actively and proactively developed many practical articles and special topics, closely following the process of collecting opinions on the amendments to the 2013 Land Law, the Law on Environmental Protection, etc., promoting and praising good people, good models, and initiatives and experiences in the work of protecting and effectively managing natural resources and the environment.

However, in the first 6 months of the year, the Bloc also identified many limitations and shortcomings in emulation and reward work, and coordination between units was not regular. It was not really proactive and positive in replicating good people and good deeds to create a widespread spread throughout the Bloc, leading to many achievements not being fully updated, so the commendation and reward were not timely, sometimes perfunctory and lacked continuity and regularity in commendation and reward activities.

Mr. Ngo Sy Cuong, Head of Emulation Block No. VI, said: In the last months of the year, the Block will seriously learn from experience and overcome limitations and shortcomings, striving to excellently complete the tasks of the last months of the year. In the coming time, the Block will continue to innovate emulation and reward work, respond to emulation movements launched by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and other levels and sectors, proactively implement emulation movements, build and replicate advanced models in the field of natural resources and environment in the period of 2021 - 2025.
