Tay Ninh launches 60-day peak campaign to implement the Project to convert the tax management model for business households

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son emphasized that in the first 9 months of 2025, the province's socio -economic situation achieved many outstanding results, with GRDP increasing by 9.52%, the highest in the Southeast region and ranked 8th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide. Total state budget revenue reached over 44,000 billion VND, exceeding 118% of the Central Government's estimate. "This is the result of synchronous efforts, including important contributions from the Tax sector and the private economic sector" .

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the policy of eliminating the lump-sum tax form and switching to declaration is an inevitable step to build a fair, transparent, and modern business environment, creating favorable conditions for business households to develop, gradually transforming into an enterprise model when qualified. He requested the Tax Department of Tay Ninh province to "concentrate human resources, promote the highest sense of responsibility to successfully launch a campaign to support business households in converting tax management models and methods; at the same time, promote propaganda and provide maximum support for business households to understand and properly implement policies and guidelines".

According to statistics, Tay Ninh currently has more than 57,000 business households, of which only about 4.73% of households declare, the rest pay taxes in the form of lump sums. The transition to declaration will help the Tax sector and people fulfill their tax obligations more transparently and fairly, contributing to preventing budget losses and promoting sustainable development of the private economy.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nam Binh - Head of Tay Ninh Provincial Tax Department said: To effectively implement the above policy, the Tax Department has issued Plan 2147/KH-TNI dated October 15, 2025, launching a 60-day peak campaign (from November 1 to December 31, 2025) to support business households in converting their models. "With the motto of taking taxpayers as the center of service, the Provincial Tax Department will mobilize maximum force, closely coordinate with local authorities and related sectors to propagate, guide and support business households in the conversion process" , Mr. Binh emphasized.

Through this, the Provincial Tax Chief affirmed the determination of the entire industry: "Highly concentrate on human resources, promote intelligence and the highest sense of responsibility to comprehensively complete the goals and targets of Project 3389, moving towards completely eliminating the form of lump-sum tax in the area before January 1, 2026".

The 60-day peak campaign is expected to create a strong change in the awareness and actions of business households, contributing to building a modern, transparent and effective financial and tax system, meeting the development requirements of Tay Ninh province in the new period.
