From August 18 to 23, 2025, the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault - qualifying round for East Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia took place in Hainan, China, gathering the continent's top young talents. Among them, tennis player Le Tien Anh (Military unit) - a promising young face of Vietnamese tennis is the only representative of the Southeast Asian region to compete. This is an important milestone, affirming the new step forward of Vietnamese youth tennis in the international arena.
Notably, in the opening match of the tournament on August 18, Le Tien Anh created a big surprise when he defeated Ranvir Singh (India, seed number 2). The Vietnamese athlete excellently defeated the seed number 2 from India after 3 dramatic matches with a score of 2-1 (6/3, 5/7 and 6/2). This victory not only affirmed Tien Anh's strong competitive spirit, but also opened up the hope of going further in the tournament.

The tournament is part of the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault, organized by the French Tennis Federation (FFT) in collaboration with the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF).
