In the exciting atmosphere of emulation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces' tradition (September 4, 1945 - September 4, 2025) and to welcome the 1st Congress of the Business Association of the Northwest Saigon region, term 2025-2030, on September 7, Gia Dinh Regiment coordinated with the Business Association of the Northwest Saigon region and Vietcombank - Hoc Mon Branch to organize a friendly Tennis and Pickleball tournament.

The friendly tournament had the participation of the following teams: Gia Dinh Regiment; Saigon Northwest Business Association and Vietcombank - Hoc Mon Branch.

After the solemn and open opening ceremony for each event, each unit sent male and female couples to compete in a friendly round-robin format to calculate points for wins and losses, creating attractive and dramatic matches filled with laughter, promoting the spirit of noble sportsmanship .

Thereby strengthening solidarity, improving health, contributing to building a strong relationship between the Regiment and socio -economic organizations in the area. On this occasion, Suntexak Fashion Brand Company Limited also presented 50 competition shirts to athletes of 3 units.

In parallel with the sports exchange activities, the Regiment also joined with the Northwest Saigon Business Association and Vietcombank - Hoc Mon Branch to launch a charity fundraising program to organize a "Zero-VND Booth" to support local people in difficult circumstances in the coming time.

More specifically, a portion of the budget is set aside to take care of the lives of officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances; thereby spreading the spirit of mutual love and sharing responsibility with the community, deepening the meaning of this friendly tournament.
