The festival is one of many activities organized to contribute to fostering solidarity and love for the country, not only for children but also for the Vietnamese community in Malaysia.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also hopes that this year's Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a joy but also a sharing of love, where the hearts of each child living far away from home are turned towards their compatriots who are being severely affected by storm No. 3 in their homeland.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy and the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association called on the Vietnamese community in Malaysia to join hands to support compatriots in the country, especially in the northern mountainous provinces.
With the theme “Enjoying the Full Moon Festival, Connecting Family, Cuisine of the Three Regions, and Filled with Joy,” this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival is not only an opportunity for families and children to enjoy the traditional festival atmosphere together, but also an opportunity for the Vietnamese community in Malaysia to strengthen their connection and introduce the beauty of Vietnamese culture to the international community.
Therefore, this year's festival features Vietnamese food stalls and many traditional music and dance performances by actors from the Le Ngoc theater troupe.
At the ceremony, the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Le Ngoc Theatre Troupe to strengthen cooperation and create favorable conditions for the troupe to participate in activities promoting Vietnamese culture to people in Malaysia in the coming time./.
