Appraisal, review and proposal to recognize Ta Phin commune as meeting advanced new rural standards and Cam Con commune as meeting new rural standards in 2024

On the afternoon of May 12, the Council for Appraisal, Review and Proposal for Recognition of Communes Meeting New Rural Standards, Advanced New Rural Standards, and Model New Rural Standards of Lao Cai Province held a Conference to appraise and propose recognition of Ta Phin Commune (Sa Pa Town) meeting advanced new rural standards and Cam Con Commune (Bao Yen District) meeting new rural standards in 2024.

Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Appraisal Council chaired the conference.

According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Ta Phin and Cam Con communes have completed all the required documents and procedures. Regarding the implementation results, 19/19 criteria for advanced new rural communes and new rural communes of the two communes were assigned by provincial agencies and units to be in charge of the assessment criteria meeting the standards of the set of criteria at the time of assessment.

At the time of appraisal, Ta Phin and Cam Con communes had no outstanding debts in basic construction under the National Target Program on New Rural Development; the satisfaction level of local people with communes meeting advanced new rural standards and high new rural standards...

Comrade Tran Minh Sang, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, reported the results of the appraisal of the application dossier for consideration and recognition of communes meeting advanced new rural standards and communes meeting new rural standards in 2024.

At the conference, the members of the appraisal council discussed, evaluated and clarified the achievements of the two communes in the process of building new rural areas and requested the communes to continue reviewing to improve the criteria to ensure compliance with regulations, especially paying attention to criteria on income, environment, security and order, etc.

The members of the Provincial Appraisal Council conducted a vote. As a result, 100% of the members agreed and proposed that the Provincial People's Committee recognize Ta Phin commune as meeting the advanced new rural standards and Cam Con commune as meeting the new rural standards in 2024.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Appraisal Council acknowledged and commended the authorities and people of Ta Phin and Cam Con communes for their efforts in the past time to achieve the criteria of advanced new rural areas and new rural areas in 2024.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Office of National Target Programs to promptly complete the documents and procedures according to regulations and send them to the Department of Agriculture and Environment for synthesis and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision to recognize Ta Phin commune as meeting advanced new rural standards and Cam Con commune as meeting new rural standards in 2024.
