People's Artist Thanh Thuy said that in preparation for activities summarizing 50 years of Ho Chi Minh City's Culture and Arts, the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City organized delegations to visit and present gifts to express gratitude to outstanding artists who have made many contributions to the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City's Culture and Arts over the past 50 years.

“For the first time, Ho Chi Minh City will organize Ho Chi Minh City Arts and Culture Day with many new city connection programs, large-scale organization and spread to Binh Duong , Ba Ria - Vung Tau as well as promote the role of artists in all three localities” – People's Artist Thanh Thuy said.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City also said that Ho Chi Minh City will focus many resources on activities to summarize 50 years of culture and arts in the coming time. The Department also advised a meeting between Ho Chi Minh City leaders and typical artists, from the liberation art force to individuals who have worked hard to create and contribute to the culture and arts of Ho Chi Minh City over the past 50 years.
