Warmth of military soldiers

In recent times, agencies and units of the General Department of Defense Industry (GDDI) have regularly coordinated closely with forces and socio-political organizations in the area to participate in preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, helping people to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty; participating in building the local political system, developing the economy, culture and society, contributing to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers - the military soldiers.

In the solid Great Unity house, Mr. Nguyen Van Huy, Dong Thuy village, Dong Xuan commune, Soc Son district ( Hanoi ) was moved: "Previously, my family had to live in a dilapidated house, hot on sunny days, leaking on rainy days, greatly affecting the health of family members. At the end of 2024, the family received financial support, materials and labor from Factory Z117, General Department of Defense Industry to build a Great Unity house. Thanks to that, the family has reduced the burden of housing in the future. The family sincerely thanks the Factory".

Carrying out mass mobilization work associated with the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization", building "Good mass mobilization unit", Party Committee The General Department of Defense Industry has led and directed Party committees and commanders at all levels to concretize the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on mass mobilization work through resolutions and action programs of Party committees and work plans of commanders, ensuring comprehensiveness, focus, and key points, consistent with the characteristics, situation, and tasks of agencies, units, and localities.

The units of the General Department have regularly coordinated closely with forces and socio -political organizations in the area, grasped the situation, customs and practices of the locality, actively participated in preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, helped local people implement social policies, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty; participated in building the local political system, developing the economy, culture and society in conjunction with performing national defense and security tasks.

Thanks to that, mass mobilization work has been deployed in many forms, directed at the grassroots, directly at the military stationed areas, helping people to work and produce, develop the economy, culture, society, strengthen national defense and security, especially in areas where people's lives are still difficult. Units have participated in helping localities build rural roads, build and renovate irrigation works, convert livestock and crops, develop household economy, proactively help people prevent and overcome the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, support localities to repair and upgrade schools, clinics, cultural houses, actively participate in the movements "The Army joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind"; "The Army joins hands to build new countryside, civilized urban areas"; "The whole people unite to build a cultural life" in the locality where the unit is stationed, associated with the Campaign "Building a good, healthy and rich cultural environment in the Army".

From 2024 to present, the General Department of Defense Industry has supported the construction of 17 Comrade Houses, 7 Great Solidarity Houses, with a total amount of more than 1.7 billion VND; supported Thai Nguyen province to build 100 Great Solidarity Houses with a total amount of 5 billion VND. At the same time, supported the "For the Poor" Fund, "Encouragement of Learning" Fund of Huong Son district, Ha Tinh with 100 million VND; supported the "For the Poor" Fund of Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh with 100 million VND; "For the Poor" Fund of Dien Bien ward (Hanoi) with 30 million VND...

The General Department of Defense Industry won the excellent prize in the 2025 Military Civil Affairs Competition in the Northern region (March 2025).

 

Colonel Tong Xuan Duc, Deputy Director of Politics of the General Department of Defense Industry, said: In the coming time, the Party Committee and the General Department of Defense Industry will continue to lead and direct Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to closely coordinate with Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at the central and local levels to effectively implement mass mobilization, ethnic and religious work; propagate and mobilize people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; effectively implement national target programs, participate in economic, cultural and social development, and build a strong grassroots political system.

Regularly grasp the locality, the people's situation, and the plots, tricks, and sabotage activities of hostile, reactionary, and political opportunist forces; proactively advise and propose the content of mass mobilization work, special propaganda, ethnic and religious work closely related to the functions and tasks of the unit and locality where the troops are stationed, consolidating the close relationship between the military and the people, and the great national unity bloc.
