Thang Binh mobilized to donate 450 units of blood

The program attracted more than 600 volunteers, officials, civil servants, employees and workers from communes, towns, agencies, units and schools; many of whom donated blood more than 10 times.

As a result, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Thang Binh District received 450 units of blood. This amount of blood was handed over to Quang Nam General Hospital and Quang Nam Northern Mountainous Region General Hospital.

Mr. Vo Anh Trung - Chairman of the Red Cross Society of Thang Binh district said that in 2025, Thang Binh was assigned the target of mobilizing 1,050 units of blood in 3 phases, of which the first phase alone achieved 112% of the target.

Along with the centralized voluntary blood donation activities, the locality currently has 20 blood donation clubs in communes and towns with 1,000 members, ready to be present at medical facilities to donate blood to save lives.
