Thanh Hoa: Impact on overcoming "deviation" manifestations

Faced with the increasing trend of juvenile delinquency in the area, the Police of Thach Binh Commune, Thanh Hoa Province, has implemented the program "One good deed - One change".

The police engage young people in community activities.

Proactively grasping the situation, Thach Binh Commune Police coordinated with the Youth Union and related units to survey, approach, and educate 27 teenagers who showed signs of deviance and potential risk of violating the law.

Thach Binh Commune Police directly met, propagandized, and oriented awareness, helping young people clearly understand right and wrong, what should and should not be done; foresee the consequences and harms of violations... to correct themselves.

Thach Binh Commune Police also organized 27 youths to participate in community activities, such as: cleaning the environment, village roads, and alleys; visiting, giving gifts, painting, and repairing houses; helping single-parent families and families in difficult circumstances to renovate mixed gardens, prepare land, plant and take care of vegetables; regularly organizing sports exchanges between officers, soldiers and youths in the area...

Police encourage young people to participate in healthy and beneficial sports.

Chief of Thach Binh Commune Police, Major Luu Duc Tai, said: We need to listen, heal the wounds, educate, guide, and accompany "special" youth on their journey of change, becoming people with a desire to contribute and do things that are useful to society.
