On June 3, Tra Vinh Provincial Police verified a clip recording a scene of a young man blocking an ambulance carrying a patient and using a brick-like object to smash the vehicle's windshield.

Previously, two clips appeared on social media recording a young man holding a chair to block an ambulance in the middle of the road, in front of Tra Vinh Provincial Hospital, to "compete" with the driver. In the clip, the young man holds a chair and runs out to block the ambulance, threatening to beat the driver, but is stopped by a woman.

In the remaining clip, the young man holds a hard object that looks like a brick and throws it at the ambulance's window, breaking the windshield and continues to "compete" with the driver...

According to the content posted on social media: "A young man and two girls drove side by side on the road, an ambulance was transporting an emergency patient on a ventilator from Cho Ray to Thien An Hospital in Tra Vinh. The driver honked his horn to ask for the right of way, but these people did not allow it; the young man chased after him, blocking the road, threatening the driver, and the climax was when he threw a brick-like object at the front windshield of the ambulance...".

Speaking to the press, a representative of Thien An General Hospital in Tra Vinh confirmed that the incident occurred on the afternoon of May 31, when the ambulance driver of Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) was taking an elderly patient who had just finished surgery to Thien An General Hospital for further treatment. The incident occurred when they reached the intersection of Tra Vinh General Hospital.
