Ho Chi Minh City launches AIoT Club

On the afternoon of October 27, the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA) and leading enterprises in Vietnam in the fields of IoT (Internet of Things) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology held the launching ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City AIoT Club (HAC). This is an official member of HCA, recognized, advised, sponsored and supported by HCA in its activities.

The Ho Chi Minh City AIoT Club was established with the goal of connecting agencies, organizations, businesses, and individuals operating in the AIoT Ecosystem; creating a forum that brings together experts and leaders in the technology field with the aim of enhancing exchange and connection activities, supporting manufacturers, experts and researchers in the AIoT field at home and abroad to promote the development of AIoT technology in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general. Thereby, contributing to quickly and effectively meeting the needs in applying AIoT technology, in line with the digital transformation trend under the direction of the Government .

The club was established with nearly 30 initial members, who are leading enterprises in the fields of telecommunications, technology, solution development and product supply in Vietnam, in which the Executive Board is representatives from the following units: Viettel Ho Chi Minh City, Mobifone Service Company Region 2, PARTYECO Technology Platform Company Limited, Khanh Hoi Telecommunications Company, Viettel 5G & IoT Lab HCM, Sao Bac Dau Technologies Group and Exporum Vietnam Company Limited.

The members of the Club hope to share and solve technical and infrastructure problems together; cooperate to be able to come up with many technologies and application solutions in the fields of: Smart cities, smart homes and buildings, energy management, environmental monitoring, traffic management, water quality management, Health - Education, high-tech agriculture and many other application fields. In particular, through training programs, experience sharing, training and networking activities organized by the Club, it will create a positive environment, promoting the development of IoT and AI technology in the future.

Ho Chi Minh City Information Technology Association expects the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City AIoT Club to mark an important milestone in gathering and connecting businesses and experts with the same passion and orientation; At the same time, it is a platform to contribute to improving Vietnam's competitiveness in the global technology market.

In Vietnam, Artificial Intelligence is being identified as one of the priority industries in the national strategy for industrial development.

AIoT stands for Artificial Intelligence of Things. This is the combination of artificial intelligence (AI) technology with internet of things (IoT) infrastructure to achieve more efficient IoT operations, improve the level of interaction between humans and machines and devices, enhance management capabilities, and optimize data analysis systems. The combination of AI and IoT makes AIoT a powerful and important tool, bringing many different applications. Currently, AIoT is widely applied in many fields and this is also an industry expected to develop strongly in the near future./.
