Yen Bai City promotes propaganda to support taxpayers

To achieve the above results, the city has implemented many solutions suitable to local economic and social development conditions, ensuring increased budget revenue and nurturing revenue sources.

One of the effective solutions is that the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee direct financial agencies to coordinate with the tax sector to develop revenue estimates that are close to local reality; to propagate and mobilize people and businesses to properly implement the Law on Tax Administration; to strengthen the fight against budget losses and reduce tax arrears; to collect correctly, fully and promptly taxes, fees, charges and other revenues according to the provisions of law. The City People's Committee also directs functional units to focus on reviewing each revenue item, urging collection according to the quarterly and monthly plan and arising revenues, resolutely handling budget arrears, creating fairness in production and business activities.

To increase regular revenues, the Yen Bai - Yen Binh Inter-District Tax Team also promotes the dissemination of revised and supplemented tax policies and laws so that officials, civil servants in the industry and taxpayers can promptly grasp the changes.

Mr. Nguyen Van Truong - Head of the Yen Bai - Yen Binh Inter-District Tax Team shared: In the past time, the unit has coordinated with mass media agencies and the industry's electronic information page to improve the quality of propaganda, helping tax officials and taxpayers promptly access changes and supplements to tax policies and laws. At the same time, issue notices on support for tax policies, laws and tax settlement in 2024 to economic organizations, enterprises, households and business individuals; continue to strengthen propaganda and mobilize taxpayers to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers; use the digital map function of business households; review and standardize personal tax codes, install and use eTax Mobile for non -agricultural land use tax.

Along with that, the Team performs tax declaration and payment for e-commerce activities; regularly answers and supports taxpayers on difficulties and problems in implementing tax policies and laws; reviews tax declaration dossiers, late submission, non-submission, urges taxpayers to submit tax declaration dossiers, ensures that taxpayers submit tax declaration dossiers to tax authorities completely and on time; resolutely and promptly handles cases of late submission of tax declaration dossiers...

Although achieving quite positive results, the work of guiding taxpayers on tax policies and utilities that the tax authority is providing to taxpayers still faces difficulties. People and businesses operating in the area are mainly small and micro enterprises, therefore, the ability to access information technology applications and the ability to compete in international economic integration, the management level of business leaders and the accounting level of businesses are still limited. In addition, the Internet connection of many businesses in Yen Bai city is still weak, affecting the access, understanding and compliance with the law of businesses...

In order to disseminate and educate the law widely to tax officials and taxpayers, in the coming time, the Yen Bai - Yen Binh Inter-District Tax Team will step up consulting, supporting and guiding the revised and supplemented tax policies and take measures to remove difficulties for taxpayers, reform administrative procedures to create the most favorable conditions for taxpayers; continue to strengthen propaganda, urge and inspect petroleum businesses in the city and Yen Binh district in issuing electronic invoices for each sale; promote administrative reform, improve the investment and business environment, create motivation to attract investment, develop production and business to create stable and sustainable sources of income.
