Thanh Phu holds Steering Committee meeting to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

BDK.VN - On the afternoon of June 6, 2025, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the District, Truong Thanh Hai; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the District, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the District, Pham Van Hung, chaired the 7th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the District.

Based on Decision No. 781 dated March 13, 2025 and Decision No. 1549 dated May 19, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on adjusting and supplementing the list of households in need of support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025. Thanh Phu District has a total of 217 houses, including: 154 newly built houses and 63 repaired houses; of which there are 25 apartments for meritorious people, 49 poor apartments, 60 near-poor apartments and 83 difficult apartments.

To date, construction has begun on 215/217 houses, and 185 houses have been completed. The district will focus on accelerating the construction and repair progress to reach 100% by June 15, 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the District Truong Thanh Hai requested the Heads of the Steering Committees of communes and towns to direct cadres to closely monitor the construction progress and disbursement of housing construction in the area; speed up the progress of house construction and repair; establish disbursement procedures in accordance with regulations,...
