Provincial Police, Border Guard Command, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Health, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Construction, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tax Department of Region XVIII and Ben Tre Customs, based on the functions and tasks of each agency, unit and the actual situation, proactively have appropriate plans and solutions to focus on fighting and effectively preventing the illegal buying, selling and transporting of drugs, firecrackers, wild animals, smuggling, illegal transportation of cigarettes, gasoline, sugar, gold, money, foreign currency, etc.

Radio and Television Station and Dong Khoi Newspaper closely coordinate with functional forces to effectively carry out information, propaganda, and dissemination of laws, situations, and results of anti-smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods work; promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding and typical achievements in anti-smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods work.

The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee 389 presides over and coordinates with functional forces and localities to strengthen the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods according to Plan No. 6411/KH-BCĐ389 dated October 7, 2022 of the Ben Tre Steering Committee 389. Presides over and coordinates with market inspection and control sectors to effectively implement the Plan to launch a peak period to fight against and repel smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the new situation and infringement of intellectual property rights in the province in 2025.

Propose timely rewards for groups and individuals with outstanding achievements. At the same time, handle or recommend competent authorities to strictly handle groups and individuals who cover up, assist, or protect smugglers, commercial fraudsters, and counterfeiters.

Coordinate with relevant departments and branches to organize professional training and education activities for officials and civil servants performing the task of combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods. Implement the information and reporting regime, summarize the annual work and summarize the topics, plans and directives on the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
