Government Inspectorate speeds up the issuance of inspection conclusions

(Chinhphu.vn) - In the coming time, the Government Inspectorate will continue to speed up the progress of issuing inspection conclusions, especially inspections assigned by the Steering Committee and the Prime Minister.

According to reports from departments, offices, and units under the Government Inspectorate in April 2025, the Government Inspectorate has carried out two important groups of tasks, namely: Implementing the Conclusion of General Secretary To Lam on resolving prolonged complaints and denunciations that have gone beyond the central level in Hanoi .

Along with that, after the Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Settlement in Regions I, II, III inspected and reviewed, 3 Working Groups led by Deputy Inspectors General of the Government directly worked in localities to inspect, urge, guide, agree on handling and settlement plans and prepare content for the Prime Minister 's Working Group to work.

In April 2025, the Government Inspectorate conducted 21 inspections, of which it issued inspection conclusions for 5, prepared to issue inspection conclusions for 3, and is developing reports and draft conclusions for 7.

Notably, Inspection Conclusion No. 138/KL-TTCP dated April 17, 2025 on planning and implementation of construction planning, construction investment management and land management and use in Can Tho City attracted public attention.

At the same time, the Government Inspectorate has prepared 6 reports to the Prime Minister on the results of inspection, monitoring and urging the implementation of inspection conclusions; and summarized the results of the implementation of 5 inspection conclusions monitored by the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and negativity.

In April, the Central Citizen Reception Office in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City received 512 visits with 1,668 citizens and 503 cases; classified and processed 1,491 petitions out of a total of 1,546 petitions to be processed; the Government Inspectorate leaders periodically received citizens regarding a number of cases in Ho Chi Minh City.

Regarding corruption prevention and control, continue to complete the Plan and Outline to guide thematic inspections on waste prevention and control in the management and use of real estate facilities at state agencies, organizations and enterprises; develop a thematic report on "The current status of implementation of accountability of agencies, organizations and heads in public service activities according to the provisions of law on corruption prevention and control, especially in areas prone to corruption, waste and negativity from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2024"; guide, urge and inspect in a number of localities on the assessment of corruption prevention and control work at the provincial level in 2024.

In the coming time, the Government Inspectorate will continue to implement the 2025 Inspection Plan and assigned surprise inspections; speed up the issuance of inspection conclusions, especially inspections assigned by the Steering Committee and the Prime Minister.

At the same time, continue to effectively implement the Law on Citizen Reception, the Law on Complaints, the Law on Denunciations, Directives and Resolutions of the Central Committee, the National Assembly, and directions of the Government and the Prime Minister on citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement.
