At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Canh, Chief of the Government Inspectorate Office, reported on the situation before, during and after the Giap Thin Lunar New Year holiday of the Government Inspectorate. Accordingly, civil servants, public employees and employees of the Government Inspectorate have followed the direction of the Government and the General Inspectorate to celebrate the New Year joyfully, safely, healthily and economically; strictly implemented the provisions of the law, the directions and directives of the Prime Minister and the direction of the Government Inspectorate leaders on the Giap Thin Lunar New Year holiday 2024.
The departments, bureaus and units of the agency strictly implemented the Tet holiday plan set out by the Government Inspectorate's leaders, especially the reporting regime and Tet duty regime; ensured vehicle safety, implemented fire prevention and fighting well; the shifts were very serious and present at the agency for specific handover, thereby demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of civil servants, public employees and workers.
The Central Citizen Reception Office in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City has done a good job of mobilizing and persuading citizens to return to their localities, arranging staff on duty in all shifts, ensuring safety and order at the Office. Closely coordinating with functional agencies in mobilizing and managing a number of citizens who are still residing in Hanoi to avoid complicated situations.
On behalf of the Party Executive Committee and the leadership of the Government Inspectorate, the Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong sent greetings to all officials, civil servants, public employees and employees of the Government Inspectorate for a new year filled with good health, joy, success and happiness. At the same time, he quickly reported on the situation before, during and after Tet of the Government meeting held that morning about the general situation of the country.
The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Doan Hong Phong acknowledged and commended the efforts of all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the agency in the past year.
In 2023, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Government Inspectorate has made great efforts to perform its tasks of inspection, citizen reception, complaint settlement and anti-corruption and negativity prevention, leaving many marks and highlights such as building a unified, transparent relationship, implementing well the rules of democratic centralism, collective leadership and individuals in charge in accordance with regulations and statutes. The outstanding results of 2023 create momentum for 2024 to make new progress and enhance the position of the Government Inspectorate.
General Inspector Doan Hong Phong hopes that, with the results achieved in recent years, the attention and support of the Party and State leaders, and the trust of the people, all civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Inspectorate will continue to promote the results achieved, overcome difficulties, unite, and excellently complete all tasks of the Inspectorate assigned by the Party and State.
