Opening of the 2025 Senior Inspector Training Course

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the course, Mr. Vu Van Chien, Principal of the Inspectorate Cadre School, emphasized that this is the only course of the year organized in a relatively special context - implementing restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus.

In the current context, Mr. Vu Van Chien, Principal of the Inspectorate Cadre School, hopes that the trainees will overcome difficulties and arrange their work schedules to fully participate in the course to ensure its effectiveness. He also requested that lecturers update information promptly to exchange and share with the trainees, thereby jointly reviewing the entire organizational structure as well as the functions and tasks of the sector, the major orientations of the Party and State regarding the streamlining of the apparatus, in order to change the mindset in leadership work so that the inspection sector can achieve higher efficiency as desired by the General Secretary and other Party and State leaders.

Over a period of one month, trainees will study, exchange ideas, and learn in a concentrated format on various topics, directly taught by lecturers who are current and former leaders of the Government Inspectorate and the Board of Directors of the Inspectorate Cadre School.

The content of the specialized topics and the knowledge shared by the lecturers in the class will equip and help trainees develop management thinking, work operation skills, and strategic-level knowledge and skills in the inspection sector, such as: Strategic thinking on inspection work for senior inspectors; Directing and managing the implementation of state management tasks of inspection agencies; Directing and managing inspection activities, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption by state inspection agencies; Leadership and management skills of heads of state inspection agencies; Directing and managing large-scale inspection activities; Managing and developing a team of inspection officials to meet the requirements of task performance; Summarizing practical experiences and building institutions in inspection work; Skills in developing projects on inspection work, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption; Risk management in inspection activities…

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Inspector General Le Sy Bay stated that, in the current context, not only the Inspectorate Cadre Training School is facing difficulties, but most agencies, including the Government Inspectorate, are also encountering numerous challenges that must be overcome. Therefore, in the coming time, the Inspectorate Cadre Training School will continue to open many training and refresher courses to improve the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees for the sector.

Deputy Inspector General of the Government Le Sy Bay emphasized that the leadership of the Government Inspectorate has been, is, and will continue to be very interested in training and developing the staff of the inspection sector.

To ensure the effectiveness of the course, Deputy Inspector General Le Sy Bay suggested that the trainees view the class as a forum for critical discussion and exchange of work experience. As the only advanced inspector training course of the year – a “special course” during a transitional period – the trainees strictly adhered to the rules and regulations of the course and the Inspectorate Cadre School, truly embodying the spirit of a “special course.” He also requested that the School's Board of Directors pay attention to providing the trainees with the best possible learning conditions to successfully complete the course.
