Accordingly, the Electricity of districts, towns and cities will work and agree with customers to sign an Appendix to amend and supplement the electricity purchase contract on changing the meter reading date before implementation, in the form of directly signing a paper copy or signing an electronic copy confirming the OTP code (depending on the customer's conditions). The number of days to transfer the meter reading is no more than 10 days to the end of the month compared to the previous meter reading schedule. Therefore, the number of days will increase in the month of changing the meter reading schedule is 40 or 41 days compared to the previous 30 or 31 days. The meter reading schedule will be shifted depending on the last time of meter reading of the previous month, the calculation of the electricity bill will be recorded and calculated according to the actual number of days of use of the customer. For customers buying electricity for domestic purposes (applying the ladder electricity price), the electricity bill will be calculated according to the regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to ensure the rights of customers.
Changing the meter reading schedule at the end of the month still ensures full customer rights, helping customers conveniently monitor electricity consumption, supervise meter readings and pay electricity bills. The Electricity Industry ensures proper implementation of the principle of accounting for revenue in accordance with costs; complies with and meets the requirements and regulations on tax obligations to the State, fully reflecting revenue in the fiscal year in accordance with costs incurred in the accounting year.
