Throughout his 19 years of teaching, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nghiep, a teacher at Ly Dao Thanh Primary School in Soc Trang ward, has not only been an exemplary and dedicated educator but also a shining example in charitable activities, especially in the humanitarian blood donation movement.

With his small stature, warm voice, and ever-present gentle smile, Mr. Nghiep is a prime example of the voluntary blood donation movement, having received a Certificate of Commendation from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province (formerly). "Each time I donate blood, I feel more deeply the value of life, the joy of contributing, and the happiness of knowing that my blood can ignite hope for someone else. I believe that if everyone joins hands and contributes, we can build a plentiful blood bank, promptly saving many patients, helping to alleviate the suffering of illness, and spreading love in society," Mr. Nghiep shared.

Mr. Nghiep first participated in blood donation in 2011, when the school's Youth Union launched a blood donation campaign. To date, Mr. Nghiep has voluntarily donated blood 27 times. He also mobilizes philanthropists to donate gifts and scholarships to students in difficult circumstances during holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), and the start of the new school year.

On the podium, Mr. Nghiep is a cheerful, patient, and loving teacher. In each class, besides teaching academic knowledge, he also imparts lessons on ethics, compassion, and community spirit. Ms. Nguyen Huynh Ngoc Hanh, Principal of Ly Dao Thanh Primary School, said: “Mr. Nghiep is an exemplary teacher, always at the forefront of all school activities. His consistent blood donation over many years has inspired many staff and teachers in the school to participate, creating a positive ripple effect for this movement.”
