Blood donation at the end of the year is especially important to ensure an uninterrupted blood supply for emergency and medical treatment.

Sharing his thoughts on the significance of blood donation during the year-end period, Dr. Pham Le Nhat Minh, Deputy Director of the Cho Ray Blood Transfusion Center, said that in reality, blood reserves usually decrease at two times each year: during the summer and especially before the Lunar New Year. Therefore, donating blood at the end of the year and before the Lunar New Year is particularly important to ensure an uninterrupted blood supply for emergency and treatment purposes.
