With just over a month to go before the 33rd SEA Games officially kicks off in Thailand, Vietnamese sports are entering the final stages of preparation. According to the plan, all athletes and coaches will enter a period of concentrated camp from November 1, in order to optimize training time, stabilize physical strength and tactics.

Vietnam U22 team, Vietnam women's team and Vietnam men's and women's futsal teams are ready for SEA Games 33.
The training is organized in a model suitable for actual competition conditions, while the football and futsal teams choose a location in the South to get used to the climate similar to Thailand; while Muay has had international friendly trips, directly competing with the Thai team in Bangkok.
After reviewing, most of the teams have completed their training plans, ensuring progress and streamlining the roster in the direction of choosing quality over quantity. Many key sports such as athletics, swimming, weightlifting, taekwondo or football aim to not only defend their achievements at the 32nd SEA Games but also test their young forces for larger playgrounds such as the Asian Games and the Olympics.
Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Director of the Vietnam Sports Department, said: "SEA Games 33 is not only an important task in 2025, but also an important stepping stone for Vietnam's sports development strategy for the period 2026-2030. We need to prepare synchronously from human resources to facilities, from spirit to physical strength to move towards true professionalism."
Along with expertise, functional units are also required to complete logistics, training equipment, nutrition and medical regimes, ensuring the best conditions for the Vietnamese delegation.
With a spirit of determination, discipline and careful preparation, Vietnamese sports are showing the image of a professional, united sports team with the aspiration to reach the regional level. SEA Games 33 is not only a competition of achievements but also an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its increasingly strong position on the Southeast Asian sports map.
