Piloting fines for overloaded vehicles from provincial road weighing station data 741

Accordingly, from October 1, the Binh Duong Department of Transport will pilot administrative sanctions against individuals and organizations transporting goods by car through extracting data from the vehicle weight inspection station at Km22+850 on DT.741 road (Tan Binh town, Bac Tan Uyen district). The pilot period is 12 months.

The pilot penalty aims to ensure traffic order and safety, traffic infrastructure; promptly detect, warn, prevent and handle violations of load capacity of freight vehicles on DT.741 road as well as other routes in operation in Binh Duong province.

Previously, the Binh Duong Department of Transport and the Road Administration proposed using weight data from the weighing device installed on Highway 741 to handle vehicles that violate the load limit when traveling on this route.

The Ministry of Transport has issued a document approving the above proposal and allowing this weighing station to be put into pilot fines within one year (from the date the People's Committee of Binh Duong province decides to put the weighing station into operation).
