This year's 10th grade exam is the first 10th grade exam according to the 2018 General Education Program. Enhance practicality: The exam will focus on highly applicable problems, closely related to daily life, helping students see the important role of mathematics in life. Develop creative thinking: In addition to basic problems, the exam will have challenging questions, requiring students to have flexible and creative thinking to solve.

Comprehensive assessment of ability: The exam not only tests theoretical knowledge but also assesses students' ability to analyze, argue, solve problems and present solutions. Closely follow the new textbook program: The exam will be built based on the Creative Horizon math textbook program, ensuring scientific , accurate and appropriate to students' abilities.

Based on the exam structure and sample exam questions of math announced by the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the structure of the 10th grade math entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year will have the following notable points:

Scope of assessment: The 2018 General Education Program for Secondary School Mathematics includes the following knowledge streams: Geometry and Measurement; Numbers and Algebra; Statistics and Probability. The test content aims to assess mathematical abilities: Mathematical thinking and reasoning; Mathematical problem solving; Mathematical modeling.

Assessment orientation: Students know how to apply the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems. Encourage self-study and creativity, avoid rote learning. The assessment content aims to help students orient themselves on some necessary knowledge and skills when entering high school.

Assessment basis: The math requirements in the 2018 Program are mainly for grades 8 and 9.
