Regarding the incident in which a candidate accused the invigilator of taking 30 minutes to complete the first round of the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, speaking with Dan Tri reporter on the morning of June 2, a representative of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) said that in the early afternoon of June 1, examination cluster No. 9 of HUTECH received feedback information related to examination room P42 [E1-08.14] via a forwarded letter from the Office of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology examination cluster urgently conducted a review and initially recorded that during the exam session on the morning of June 1, in room P42, the invigilator opened and distributed the exam papers but allowed the candidates to complete the exam later than the prescribed time.

According to the school representative, the above incident resulted in shortened test time for candidates in room P42.
“This is a shortcoming that arose during the exam coordination process, causing certain impacts on the rights of the candidates involved.
The school has reported in detail to Ho Chi Minh City National University and asked for instructions on how to resolve the issue to ensure the best interests of the candidates. At the same time, the offending exam supervisors will report and the Disciplinary Council will consider and discipline them according to regulations," said a representative of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
The Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment (Ho Chi Minh City National University) is considering appropriate handling.
As Dan Tri reported, after the second round of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's capacity assessment, a candidate at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) exam site complained that the invigilator in exam room P42 took about 30 minutes of the candidate's test time.
This candidate reported that after the bell rang at 8:30, the invigilator announced that this was the time to read the exam questions and not to hold a pen. At that time, this candidate felt suspicious because in the first round, he understood that this was the time to start doing the exam.
After that, the candidates in the room repeatedly reminded the supervisor about the test time, but the supervisor still insisted that this was the time to review the test.
At around 9:00 a.m., 30 minutes late for the scheduled test time, when there was a final reminder from the candidate, the invigilator asked and found out that the actual test time was from 8:30 a.m.
The Ho Chi Minh City National University's aptitude test took place on June 1 with nearly 95,000 candidates taking the test. According to regulations, candidates will take the test within 150 minutes from 8:30 to 11:00 for a test consisting of 120 objective multiple-choice questions.
The Ho Chi Minh City National University's Aptitude Test is the largest direct university entrance exam in the country in terms of the number of candidates and the number of schools using the test results for admission.
To date, about 110 universities and colleges nationwide use the results of this exam in admissions.
