On the morning of June 16, the Examination Council of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Exam announced the second round of 2025 exam scores of this exam at the website https://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/dgnl/
However, many candidates reported that they could not view their competency assessment test scores at the access address provided by this unit.
At 12 noon on June 16, many candidates still expressed their feelings of "Can't log in", "Can't log in", "Crash", "Can't see scores"... after many attempts to look up their exam scores for this exam.

At many times during the morning of June 16, the system for viewing competency assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University was inaccessible (Photo: HN).
On forums about this exam, many candidates continuously shared about not being able to check their exam scores or access the website.
In some cases, there was a time when I was able to see the score, but when I tried to see it again, it was "frozen"...
It is too difficult to look up exam scores, many candidates think that this exam needs many ways to look up scores such as sending via email, linked websites to limit the situation of candidates checking scores at the same time at too many addresses leading to overload.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University, shared that as soon as the second round of the competency assessment exam scores were announced, many people immediately logged into the system to look up their scores.
A large number of candidates accessed the site at the same time, not to mention many parents also looked up their children's scores, leading to a system error.
This unit said that today, all candidates will be able to see their scores and hopes that candidates and parents will remain calm.
The second round of the 2025 capacity assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University has nearly 93,000 candidates taking the exam, organized in 11 localities including Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang .
In particular, 67,623 candidates took the first round of this exam and continued to take the second round (accounting for 71.3%) with the hope of getting better results to get university admission scores. According to the regulations of this exam, if a candidate takes both rounds, the higher exam result will be used for admission consideration.

Electronic exam result certificates will be issued from June 23.
According to the exam council, the score distribution information of the second round of 2025 is close to the normal distribution, the score range is wide, and there is a slight "rightward" tendency compared to the first round.
This may be due to reasons such as out of the total number of candidates taking the second round, there are more than 65,000 candidates who have taken the first round. This is a group of candidates with good ability or better, with first round exam scores higher than the average.
Round 2 takes place two months after round 1, so candidates also have more time to review and consolidate their knowledge.
At the same time, due to the experience in the first round, candidates have more experience in taking the test, have better time management skills and exam room psychology, so they can improve their test results.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh shared that the distribution of the 2025 capacity assessment test scores clearly shows the characteristics of a near-normal distribution with a balanced bell shape, showing that the test is capable of effectively classifying candidates.
The mean score (662.78) and median score (653.0) were nearly equal, reflecting symmetry in the score distribution, with no significant bias toward high or low scores.
