Ho Chi Minh City National University (VNU-HCM) has just announced the launch of the Jensen Huang Scholarship Program 2025, an initiative jointly implemented by NVIDIA Corporation to develop the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Vietnam.

According to the plan, the program will be piloted in 2025-2026 with a total budget of 1 million USD, of which 200,000 USD will be invested directly in students (training, skill development, incentives) and 800,000 USD will be spent on GPU resources to serve research, startup and innovation projects in the field of AI.
Participants are final year students or recent graduates from member schools of VNU-HCM, including: University of Technology, University of Natural Sciences , International University, University of Information Technology and An Giang University.
Encouraged fields of study include artificial intelligence, information technology, computer science, data science, electronics - telecommunications, applied mathematics - information technology or AI-oriented fields.
Candidates need to achieve a minimum GPA of 3.5/4 (equivalent to 8.75/10), have IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 80 or higher, and a profile proving outstanding academic, research and extracurricular activities.
In 2025, the program plans to award 50 Jensen Huang scholarships to outstanding students from VNU-HCM. Selected candidates will participate in the "Zero-to-Hero" intensive AI training course with experts from Silicon Valley, study on the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute platform, receive funding for courses, specialized seminars, and have the opportunity to intern, research, and participate in AI projects and competitions organized by NVIDIA.
