Trang Bang Town enhances social responsibility in environmental protection work

On the morning of June 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trang Bang Ward, Trang Bang Town organized a rally in response to World Environment Day 2025. This is the unit chosen as a model of the province and town.

Officials, civil servants, union members and youth attended the ceremony.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Vy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Ho Van Hong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Council; Mr. Tran Khanh Nhan - Vice Chairman of the Town Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and 200 delegates who are leaders of the Town's agencies, departments and branches; cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, youth and people in the area.

With the theme “Fighting plastic pollution”, World Environment Day 2025 aims to strongly convey the message of building a sustainable lifestyle, in harmony with nature, adapting to climate change; controlling and solving plastic waste pollution through policies, initiatives and participating in global and regional cooperation mechanisms; moving towards a greener, cleaner lifestyle; increasing recycling and reuse; promoting the building of a green economy , circular economy and sustainable development; effectively implementing anti-plastic waste policies.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Thuan - Secretary of the Trang Bang Ward Party Committee called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, youths, and people to raise their sense of responsibility through practical actions in daily life to protect a clean and beautiful environment; strengthen the implementation of measures to restore the ecosystem, respond to climate change, protect natural resources; use environmentally friendly materials, limit plastic waste; contribute to building an increasingly developed homeland.

Immediately after the ceremony, a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members and young people participated in a parade through the main streets, calling on people from all walks of life to actively respond to World Environment Day, participate in cleaning, handling plastic waste and protecting the environment.
