Tam Ky children celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team

This is an activity to celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2025), towards the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

At the program, outstanding young pioneers and children of Tam Ky City reviewed the tradition of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers over the past 84 years of establishment and development. Over the past years, together with children across the country, young pioneers and children in the city have competed to follow "Uncle Ho's 5 teachings", be good and studious, strive to practice, be creative, and actively participate in movements.

The City Youth Union effectively implemented many activities and movements, creating an environment for team members and children to develop comprehensively. In particular, the "Small Plan" movement was enthusiastically responded to by team members, therebyeducating the awareness of saving and protecting the environment among children.

From the “Small Plan” movement, many meaningful projects named after Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers at all levels were born. In the 2024-2025 school year, from the funding source of this movement, the City Young Pioneers Council built the City Children's Brass Band and the “Small Plan Bus” model.

Along with that, the city's children show the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, sharing with those in difficult circumstances, helping team members and children strive to excel in their studies.

In particular, from the Tam Ky Dream Lighting Fund contributed by team members, along with the support of organizations and individuals, the City Team Council has presented 17 "Friendship Houses" along with thousands of gifts and scholarships to team members in difficult circumstances.

In the 2024 - 2025 school year alone, the City Youth Union presented a "Friendship House" worth 70 million VND to two brothers Vo Van Luu (Ngo Quyen Primary School) and Vo Van Ca (Nguyen Khuyen Primary School), who are in very difficult circumstances in An Phu ward.

At the program “84 seasons of flowers - Our team grows up with the country”, from the Dream Lighting Fund, Tam Ky City Team Council supported 9 team members who unfortunately suffered from serious illnesses, each with 10 million VND. The City Youth Union and the City Department of Education and Training awarded 8 scholarships (1.5 million VND/scholarship) to team members with difficult circumstances who overcame difficulties to study well.

The City Youth Union also commended the teams that participated well in the Youth Propaganda Festival on drowning prevention, injury prevention, child abuse and violence prevention; and participated well in the campaigns, projects, and youth work, the "Small Plan" movement for the 2024-2025 school year.

On this occasion, Tam Ky City Youth Union inaugurated and handed over the "Friendship House" and organized a "Team Member Meal" at the family of the Vo Van Ca brothers.
