The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, May 12, the weather in the North and North Central regions will be sunny during the day and rainy at night in some places.

Central Central, Central Highlands and South regions will have intermittent sunshine during the day, moderate rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with heavy rain in some places. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Rainfall is forecast to be 15-30mm, with some areas reaching over 60mm. Localized heavy rains may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
