Comrade Phan Thai Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and shared joy with local people.
Bho Hoong village has 2 ethnic groups living, Co Tu and Kinh, in 2 solidarity groups with 203 households and 795 people. The majority of people produce agriculture and forestry with a total rice growing area of about 43 hectares and afforestation of 113 hectares.
In addition to developing community tourism , Bho Hoong village has many typical movements such as building 3-star OCOP products; building 14 new houses for poor households in the area, investing in many infrastructures, transportation, cultural institutions... Currently, the village has only 85 poor households and 21 near-poor households.
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh acknowledged the people's efforts in economic development and preserving the great national unity bloc.
He believes that with this consensus, Bho Hoong village will develop beautifully, become a bright spot in developing community tourism and preserving and promoting the precious cultural and historical values of the Co Tu people.
Also at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh presented 5 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to 5 disadvantaged households in Bho Hoong village; Dong Giang district leaders presented gifts to solidarity groups.
