The event was held under the theme “Ending violence against women and girls”. TH Group takes “For true happiness” as the first core value of the 5 core values that TH aims for.

We believe that "respect and non-discrimination" is one of the important principles to ensure that everyone is equal in role, position, voice, opportunity and benefit. The widespread implementation of the "Orange with TH" campaign is the Group's effort to raise public awareness of this situation. At the same time, it conveys the belief and determination to bring orange - a bright and hopeful future to all those who have been and are living with violence".

This is the second year that TH Group and the Foundation for Vietnamese Stature have joined UN WOMEN to organize the World Orange Campaign - Unite to End Gender-Based Violence. This year's program is organized with the message: Diversity - Equity - Inclusion - Connectivity - For True Happiness.

Since 2008, the United Nations Secretary-General has chosen orange as the symbolic color for efforts and commitments to end gender-based violence to warn of the almost-highest level of danger of this condition globally. In addition to that meaning, orange itself is also a visually appealing color, bringing a sense of joy and hope for a world free of gender-based violence to all women and children, as well as those who are working tirelessly day and night for this goal.

"Being in the top 30 enterprises promoting gender equality in Vietnam, TH Group has always demonstrated its pioneering position in realizing UN Women's Women's Empowerment Commitment (WEPs) and is increasingly prosperous," said Ms. Nguyen Kim Lan, Manager of the Women's Economic Empowerment Program of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment.

That is also an important reason that helps the Group develop more and more prosperously. With many policies, documents and regulations implementing gender equality, TH has been building an equal and safe working environment for employees, with absolutely no discrimination in the workplace.

With specific policies and solutions, TH has become one of the leading corporations in promoting gender equality in the workplace and in the community. “Employees are the assets of the enterprise. And if they learn to work in an equal and safe environment, they will work with high productivity, quality and efficiency, creating initiatives and good labor performance. TH Group has implemented good gender equality content, meeting the requirements of sustainable development”, Ms. Nguyen Kim Lan shared.

Participating in the "Orange Bowl with TH" festival for the first time, Mr. Le Van Cao, who works at farm No. 4 - a dairy farm cluster of TH Group in Nghia Dan, said that this is a very meaningful activity for all workers. Because he realized that in any organization or enterprise, once the factors of equality - fairness - diversity of each individual are respected and created conditions for development, the opportunities for development and prosperity of that organization or enterprise will become much clearer. For example, at the enterprise he is working for, there are many jobs that seem "not for women" but his female colleagues have completed them excellently and brought outstanding economic efficiency to the unit.

When asked to talk about the contributions of his colleagues of the opposite sex, Mr. Cao proudly shared: “TH Group’s dairy farm is a large-scale concentrated livestock and production farm system, so there are specialized machines that require very high health and skills. Men also have to work very hard. Yet in my unit, there are always very good female machine operators. Simply because they are truly passionate about their work and the company always supports and creates conditions for them to develop themselves in the most effective way.”

"Here, we feel the attention of leaders and managers to ensure that all workers have a safe and equal working environment. Therefore, we have the opportunity to develop ourselves, to contribute according to our abilities, with absolutely no discrimination between men and women" - Ms. Dat shared.

As a unit with 61% female employees in the total number of staff, TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company (THMF) has always ensured a policy of support and creating maximum conditions for women to promote their abilities. Ms. Luu Thi Thu Hien - General Director of TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company said: "The company always has a strategy to arrange and reasonably plan work, especially specifically monitor the plans and reproductive needs of female staff so as not to be passive in terms of human resources while ensuring strict implementation of benefits and maternity regimes to create all conditions to help women balance between work, career, passion and family".

The media event: " Tossing oranges with TH 2023" - Ending violence against women and girls has made a deep impression on TH Group's 2023 orange-painting journey. The message of Diversity - Fairness - Inclusion - Connection - For true happiness is widely spread not only to employees working at TH Group but also to people across the country, towards a safer, more equal and better world for all women and girls in Vietnam.

This year, the "To Cam Cung TH" campaign is held directly at 15 TH true mart stores in Hanoi and 10 stores in Ho Chi Minh City from November 15 to December 15, 2023. The TH true mart system participating in the campaign will be decorated with a prominent orange corner. Each customer who buys an orange product and checks in at the orange corner, shares the campaign message with the hashtag "TocamcungTH" will receive a meaningful gift. In addition, for each orange product purchased by customers at the 25 TH true mart stores mentioned above, the For Vietnamese Stature Fund will contribute 630 VND to the Fund to support improving the livelihoods of women who have suffered violence and are in difficult circumstances.

Each loan of at least VND 10 million will be operated in a rotating interest-free manner for beneficiaries. It is expected that VND 300 million will be contributed through the campaign "To Cam with TH 2023" to support the livelihoods of women who have suffered violence and are in difficult circumstances in Muong Ang district, Dien Bien province.
