Information on test results of “Milo Barley Milk Supplement”

Regarding the case of "Nestlé Milo Barley Milk Supplement" of Nestlé Vietnam Company Limited, Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, on the evening of May 31, Dong Nai Department of Health continued to report to the Provincial People's Committee on the progress of inspection and verification of information.

According to Dong Nai Department of Health , the inspection team took samples of Nestlé Milo barley milk supplement food products to evaluate the safety and quality indicators of the product.

On May 28, Technical Center for Standards, Measurement and Quality 3 returned test results number KT3-03213BTP5 for Nestlé Milo barley milk supplement food sample.

Test results show that the product has safety and quality indicators consistent with the product's self-declaration profile.

Also according to the Dong Nai Department of Health, previously, the unit coordinated with representatives of the Economic Police Department of Dong Nai Provincial Police, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Justice, and the Provincial Market Management Department, focusing on clarifying the information reflected and the direction of the Department of Food Safety - Ministry of Health on advertising the Nestlé Milo barley milk supplement food product of Nestlé Vietnam Company Limited.

In document 2886/SYT-ATTP dated May 29, Dong Nai Department of Health transferred the case file and handed over all related documents to the Investigation Police Agency to verify, clarify and handle the case according to legal regulations related to information about advertising the product "Nestlé Milo Barley Milk Supplement".

Regarding this incident, the Department of Food Safety, Ministry of Health issued Official Dispatch No. 805/ATTP-NDTT dated April 22 to the Department of Health of Dong Nai province regarding coordination in handling information related to advertising of Nestlé Milo barley milk products.

Then, on May 23, in urgent dispatch No. 6246/UBND-KGVX, the Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and branches to urgently coordinate with the Provincial Police to inspect Nestlé Milo Company Limited's advertising of the product "Barley Milk Supplement".
