Friday, June 30, 2023 14:48 (GMT+7)TTH.VN - On the afternoon of June 30, the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, and Smuggling of the Provincial Police announced that the unit, in coordination with Truong An Ward Police and Hue City Police, discovered and seized more than 100 types of clothing with designs and labels of foreign camouflage uniforms.
Previously, on June 29, police forces conducted an inspection at Thanh Huyen clothing store (5/58 Phan Chu Trinh, Truong An ward, Hue city) owned by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh.
Through inspection, the police discovered that more than 100 types of camouflage clothing of various types, used military uniforms of foreign armed forces, were being openly sold here, on the list of banned import goods.
At the time of inspection, the store owner could not present invoices or documents proving the legality of the goods and admitted that all of the above goods were purchased illegally from the market outside the province and brought back to sell for profit. Currently, the police have seized all of the above-mentioned infringing goods to clarify and handle them according to the provisions of the law.
