Recalling a series of health food product declaration papers

Mr. Chu Quoc Thinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ) has just signed a document revoking the validity of the product declaration registration certificate No. 3198/2021/DKSP dated April 9, 2021 of the health protection food product Chocodiet.

Product announced by Loewy Brand Company Limited (address: 310/40 Pham Van Chieu Street, Ward 9, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City).

The company has now changed its name and address to Staywell Trading Company Limited (address: 100/46 Street No. 3, Ward 8, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City). The revocation decision takes effect from the date of signing on May 20, 2025.

The leaders of the Food Safety Department request Staywell Trading Company Limited; Food Product Management Department and related departments under the Food Safety Department to be responsible for implementation.

According to the Department of Food Safety, previously, Staywell Trading Company Limited had a document requesting to cancel the registration file for the health food product declaration Chocodiet.

The Food Safety Department also announced the revocation of the validity of the Product Declaration Registration Certificate No. 8397/2020/DKSP dated August 31, 2020 of the health protection food product Sadi slim plus by Hoang Huy Organic Trading and Development Company Limited (address: No. 6, Lane 565, Lac Long Quan Street, Xuan La Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi City ).

Revoke the validity of the Certificate of Product Declaration Registration for 10 health protection food products announced by Nam Viet Biotechnology Joint Stock Company, address: Lot A3-A4, Small and Medium Industrial Cluster, Dien Phu Commune, Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province.

A leader of the Food Safety Department said that recently, the department has requested the health departments, branches, and food safety departments of provinces and cities to post-check food and functional food advertisements nationwide. At the same time, the Food Safety Department will soon submit to the Government a decree to supplement stricter regulations on quality control and advertising of functional foods and health protection foods.
