Exemplary and enthusiastic grassroots union "leader"

Ms. Nguyen Kieu Oanh, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Council, Chairman of the Phu Son Ward Trade Union.

In 2011, Ms. Oanh was accepted as an office staff of the Tan Son Ward Party Committee ( Thanh Hoa City). During her work, she has constantly strived to learn and improve her professional qualifications. She has been Vice Chairman of the Tan Son Ward People's Council and Vice Chairman of the Phu Son Ward People's Council for 10 years, and concurrently Chairman of the grassroots trade union for 8 years. In each position and field of work, she is always enthusiastic, dynamic, creative, striving to overcome all difficulties and challenges, working with a high sense of responsibility, completing all assigned tasks well.

Ms. Oanh said: Being a union official requires dedication and enthusiasm. The union is the spiritual support for union members, so I tell myself that I have the responsibility to listen to their thoughts and aspirations and find ways to resolve difficulties in work and life so that union members and employees can work with peace of mind and contribute.

The Phu Son Ward grassroots union currently has 37 union members. As the chairwoman of the grassroots union, Ms. Oanh and the union executive committee always closely follow the implementation of the unit's tasks, direct the innovation of the union's operating methods; focus on launching and widely implementing emulation movements to create a vibrant and effective emulation atmosphere. As a result, 100% of union members actively responded to the emulation with the content: Innovating working methods towards professionalism, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, promoting initiative to improve the quality of work, ensuring progress, contributing to improving the effectiveness of assigned tasks...

As a young, dynamic and creative cadre, Ms. Oanh actively researches and applies many initiatives to practical activities at the agency, bringing high efficiency. She herself has had many initiatives recognized by the Science and Innovation Council of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee and applied in practice. Typical initiatives are "Some solutions to improve the quality of activities of Tan Son Ward People's Council in the period of 2021-2026"; "Solutions to improve the effectiveness of propaganda,education , and launching emulation movements among cadres and union members"... Thanks to that, professional and union activities have achieved practical results.

To take care of the lives of union members, Ms. Oanh proactively grasps the thoughts and aspirations of union members, promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles. She and the union executive board regularly coordinate with the authorities at the same level to regularly visit and give gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, illness, and misfortune so that they can work with peace of mind. Every year, the union organizes seminars and gives gifts to female union members on March 8 and October 20, organizes propaganda about policies and regimes for female workers, population work, family planning, etc.

With her dedication, enthusiasm and responsibility in union work, Ms. Nguyen Kieu Oanh has received the trust of union members, employees and the consensus of the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the ward. For many years, she has achieved the title of grassroots emulation fighter and has been awarded many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Labor Federation and the Thanh Hoa City Labor Federation.
