First quarter exceeded plan
By the end of March 2025, the total state budget revenue in Dak Nong will be 1,471 billion VND, reaching 52% of the central budget estimate, 44% of the local budget estimate and 42% of the GRDP growth target.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the state budget revenue increased by 86%. This is also the highest budget revenue result in the past 8 years in Dak Nong.
According to Acting Director of the Department of Finance Tran Dinh Ninh, the high budget revenue in the first quarter was due to the contribution of many sectors. First of all, the revenue from the State sector managed by the Central Government must be mentioned.
In the first quarter of 2025, this sector collected 517 billion VND, reaching 111% of the central budget estimate, 92% of the local budget estimate and increasing by 321% over the same period. The reason for this high revenue is that in the first quarter, the state budget generated 379 billion VND from late tax payment and additional payment for the final settlement of resource tax of Dak Nong Aluminum Company.

Revenue from foreign-invested enterprises also increased. In the first quarter, this sector collected 66 billion VND, reaching 147% of the central budget, 60% of the local budget and increasing 183% over the same period.
The increase in revenue in this sector is due to some unexpected revenue items such as: Olam Vietnam Company Limited paid 18 billion VND. CP Livestock Company paid 11 billion VND...
The registration fee area also collected a large amount of revenue. By the end of March 2025, this area collected 92 billion VND, reaching 56% of the central budget, 48% of the local budget and increasing 138% over the same period last year.
The reason for the high growth is due to the revenue from registration fees for cars and real estate. Recently, agricultural product prices have increased, and people's demand for purchasing assets and agricultural land has increased.

Acting Director of the Department of Finance Tran Dinh Ninh emphasized that since the beginning of the year, the department has coordinated with the Tax Department of Region XIV to strengthen effective tax collection. The unit has coordinated with relevant sectors to implement solutions to prevent revenue loss.
Land revenue is a focus of tax agencies. Tax administration reform to help businesses save time and travel costs is also being promoted by tax agencies. By implementing these solutions, the problem of budget deficit has been promptly resolved.
Particularly, the tax authorities have stepped up propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws on taxes, fees and charges. Administrative reform, building of taxpayer databases, and expanding the implementation of electronic invoices have also been promptly implemented.

Determined to reach the finish line early
In 2025, Dak Nong's state budget revenue plan is 3,504 billion VND. With high revenue results in the first quarter, Dak Nong is striving to achieve the highest target.

In fact, the socio-economic situation of Dak Nong has not been without difficulties. However, Dak Nong still has bright colors to expect to implement the proposed budget revenue target.
Priority sectors include industry, agriculture, urban areas, tourism, trade and services. In particular, the province focuses on attracting projects with advanced technology, high technology and environmental friendliness to ensure sustainable development. This will be the space for Dak Nong to promote effective revenue exploitation.
Acting Director of the Department of Finance Tran Dinh Ninh said that currently, the whole sector is improving the quality of propaganda work, supporting people and businesses in many fields. Many policies on tax exemption and reduction for people and businesses will be actively implemented by the Finance sector.

Relevant units actively support and speed up the issuance of investment policies for businesses and investors, especially for investors in the field of bauxite mining and processing.
Regarding budget revenue, sectors and localities strengthen coordination mechanisms to increase revenue. The high increase in budget revenue has contributed to the province's GRDP growth.
To do this, in addition to the efforts of the Finance sector, departments, branches and local authorities focus on closely directing the work of budget collection. Relevant agencies and units closely coordinate with tax and customs agencies to strengthen revenue management.
