State budget revenue in 10 months increased sharply, exceeding the yearly estimate

According to data just announced by the Ministry of Finance on the morning of November 6, state budget revenue in the first 10 months of 2025 increased by 28.5% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, state budget expenditure increased by 47.1%, ensuring the needs of socio-economic development, national defense, security, state management, payment of due debts as well as timely payment to subjects according to regulations.

Specifically, according to the report of the General Statistics Office (Ministry of Finance), the total state budget revenue in October 2025 is estimated at 193.5 trillion VND. The total state budget revenue in the first 10 months of 2025 reached 2,145.0 trillion VND, equal to 109.1% of the annual estimate and an increase of 28.5% over the same period last year.

Some main revenues reported by the General Statistics Office are as follows: Domestic revenue in October 2025 reached 166.4 trillion VND. Accumulated revenue in the first 10 months of 2025 reached 1,842.7 trillion VND, equal to 110.5% of the annual estimate and increased by 32.6% over the same period last year.

Revenue from crude oil in October 2025 reached 3.6 trillion VND; accumulated revenue in the first 10 months of 2025 reached nearly 41.0 trillion VND, equal to 77.0% of the year's estimate and down 14.9%.

Budget revenue from import-export activities in October 2025 reached 23.4 trillion VND; accumulated revenue in the first 10 months of 2025 reached nearly 260.0 trillion VND, equal to 110.6% of the year's estimate and an increase of 12.8%.

Total state budget expenditure in October 2025 is estimated at 194.2 trillion VND, accumulated in the first 10 months of 2025 is 1,830.8 trillion VND, equal to 71.0% of the year's estimate and an increase of 47.1% over the same period last year.

Of which, regular expenditure reached 1,253.0 trillion VND, equal to 78.4% and increased by 46.3%; development investment expenditure reached 486.1 trillion VND, equal to 61.5% and increased by 57.9%; debt interest payment was 85.7 trillion VND, equal to 77.5% and increased by 9.7%.
