Tax industry's budget revenue exceeds 200,000 billion VND
By the end of October, total state budget revenue was estimated at over VND1.9 million billion, exceeding the plan by about VND200,000 billion. Notably, the FDI enterprise sector increased revenue by about 10%, while the private economic sector increased by up to 27%.
The tax sector also said that, according to the plan, from now until the end of the year, the estimated monthly state budget revenue is about 160,000 billion VND. Therefore, the target is to collect an additional 300,000 billion VND, thereby helping to ensure a 25% increase in state budget revenue in 2025 according to the Government's direction. In addition, this year, many new tax policies have also been issued and taken effect, creating strong momentum for economic growth and digital transformation in management. These are the Law on VAT, Corporate Income Tax which has come into effect, Personal Income Tax, and the Law on Tax Administration which is being discussed by the National Assembly .
According to Deputy Director of the Tax Department Dang Ngoc Minh, the above positive results are thanks to the timely, flexible and synchronous policies and adjustments of the Government in directing the Finance sector to deploy a series of large-scale fiscal solutions to support businesses and economic recovery. The total value of support packages in 2025 is estimated at about 200,000 billion VND, helping to reduce financial pressure and support cash flow for businesses. As a result, macroeconomic indicators and state budget revenue results in 2025 are all positive.
Deputy Director of the Tax Department Dang Ngoc Minh affirmed that all these reforms not only aim to ensure state budget revenue, but also create a foundation for social security, infrastructure development and strengthen business confidence - key factors for Vietnam to enter a period of sustainable development and high growth after 2026.
