VHO - The Hue Monuments Conservation Center has just announced changes and additions when purchasing tickets to visit sites in the Hue Monuments Complex from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, implementing Resolution 27/2024/NQ-HDND dated November 15, 2024 of the People's Council of Thua Thien Hue province, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center will collect entrance fees at the Duc Duc King Tomb (An Cuu Ward, Hue City).
Specifically, the entrance fee for adults is 50,000 VND/person/trip and free for children (up to 12 years old). The entrance fee at Duc Duc Tomb will be applied from January 1, 2025.
Previously, from the beginning of August 2024, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened to welcome visitors free of charge to the tomb of King Duc Duc (also known as An Lang). This is the resting place of three kings of the Nguyen Dynasty, including: Duc Duc, Thanh Thai and Duy Tan.
This relic has been restored and embellished since 2018 and lasted for more than 5 years with a budget of 40 billion VND. Duc Duc Tomb relic has been restored to its original state and architectural beauty.
The fee collection at this tourist attraction is the same as that of other relics such as King Thieu Tri's tomb, Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, Hon Chen Palace, An Dinh Palace, Nam Giao Altar according to Resolution No. 22/2022/NQ-HDND dated October 26, 2022 of the People's Council of Thua Thien Hue province on "Regulations on collection levels, collection, payment, management and use of fees for visiting Hue historical and cultural relics belonging to the Complex of Hue Monuments".
In addition, from the beginning of 2025, Hue relic sites will have changes in the opening hours for free visits for domestic tourists. Specifically, there will still be 5 days of free visits (the total number of free days/year will not change), including:
The first day of Lunar New Year; the anniversary of the Liberation Day of Thua Thien Hue March 26; the anniversary of the successful August Revolution August 19; the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam September 2; and the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day November 23.
In order to best serve ticket sales for tourists and travel agencies, quickly and accurately respond to ticket discount policies for priority subjects, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center also informs visitors to use their Citizen ID when purchasing tickets to enjoy ticket exemption or discount policies.
