This is an edition of the IEEE International Conference on Environmental and Electrical Engineering (IEEE), which is held annually. After 25 successful editions, the conference has become one of the oldest and most prestigious networking and academic exchange events in Europe on various topics related to energy systems and environmental issues.
The conference took place from November 5-7, attracting hundreds of leading energy experts and scientists from more than 20 countries such as France, Sweden, Canada, Japan, China, Korea, Portugal and Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Van Chau, President of the University of Electricity, said: The EEE-AM 2025 Conference is an important event in the series of prestigious international conferences on Environment and Electrical Engineering in the world in the fields of electrical engineering, energy and environment.
In 2023, the first IEEE International Conference on Environmental and Electrical Engineering in Asia was held in Vietnam, hosted by the University of Electric Power, gathering more than 150 scientific reports. This year, the event received more than 400 scientific papers, of which 351 were selected for presentation. This shows the strong spread of Vietnam's academic reputation as well as in the international arena.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Van Chau emphasized that the EEE-AM 2025 Conference is a meeting place, a connection to establish cooperation, a gathering place for scientists, policy makers, trainers and businesses in the field of energy and sustainable development in the region and the world to exchange, forecast and shape the future of the electricity industry, for a sustainable and prosperous energy future.
With the theme “Future Electrical Engineering: Trends and Innovations”, 6 plenary sessions focused on the following contents: power systems and smart grids, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, energy management, dispatch and electricity markets, energy storage systems, green transition and materials for sustainable development…
The workshop is expected not only to provide an overview of scientific, technical, economic and social issues in the application of electrical engineering associated with environmental impacts, contributing to promoting a green economy and sustainable development, but also to be a bridge to promote academic exchange and strategic cooperation between universities, research institutes, management agencies and enterprises.

Thanks to that, the workshop will also contribute to spreading knowledge, developing high-quality human resources, and encouraging innovation. At the same time, it will support countries, including Vietnam, to proactively adapt to the new energy market context, ensure energy security, improve competitiveness and move towards the goal of sustainable development, prosperity and self-reliance.

Within the framework of the conference, the International Exhibition on Electricity and Energy Technology (EL VIETNAM 2025) was also held, introducing advanced technologies, equipment and solutions in the field of electricity and energy of domestic and international enterprises, research institutes and organizations.
