Promoting cooperation in Vietnamese language training in Thailand

Attending the ceremony on behalf of the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association were Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, President of the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association and President of the Thai Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Ho Van Lam, Vice President of the Business Association of Overseas Vietnamese (BAOOV), President of the Thai - Vietnamese Business Association in Thailand and representatives of Thai organizations and businesses.

Center for Vietnamese Studies, Ratjabath University Udon Thani Thailand held a signing ceremony of cooperation with Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association.

On behalf of Ratjabhat Udon Thani University, there were Assistant Professor Dr. Khanisara Thanyasunthornsakun, Rector of Ratjabhat Udon Thani University; Dr. Savitri Boonmee, Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Supatra Wanpen, Head of the International Faculty, and representatives of leaders of units and the Board of Directors of the Center for Vietnamese Studies of Ratjabhat Udon Thani University.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association, highly appreciated the cooperation with the UDRU Vietnam Studies Center to provide short-term Vietnamese language training for Thai students. This cooperation is one of the important tasks in the development strategy, which is also the mission of TVFA, with the goal of developing Thailand's human resource potential, preparing basic language skills when approaching the Vietnamese labor market. In addition, Vietnamese language training also aims to support Thai corporations and enterprises when investing in Vietnam.

Mr. Sanan Angubolkul believes that with the close cooperation between the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association and Ratjabhat University Udon Thani, the Vietnamese language training program will achieve its set goals. This will be an important activity in tightening and enhancing the good relationship between the people of the two countries, thereby leading to economic , social and cultural cooperation in the region.

In particular, the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association offers 3 scholarships to Thai students interested in registering for a short-term Vietnamese language training program at the Center for Vietnamese Studies, Ratjabhat University, Thailand; then they will be sent to study Vietnamese for 1 month in Vietnam (each scholarship is worth 50,000 baht).

At the ceremony, Assistant Professor Dr. Khanisara Thanyasunthornsakun, President of Ratjabhat Udon Thani University, expressed the honor of the Center for Vietnamese Studies as well as the school when cooperating with the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association and the Thai - Vietnam Business Association of Thailand. At the same time, he expressed his thanks to the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association for supporting scholarships to learn Vietnamese and providing useful information for students planning to study in Vietnam.

This cooperation program is the driving force for the Center for Vietnamese Studies at Ratjabath Udon Thani University to have many specific and meaningful activities to strengthen the friendly relationship between the school and state and private units of both Thailand and Vietnam.

After the cooperation signing program, the delegates visited the Vietnam Studies Center and participated in a number of activities of Vietnamese university students studying and interning at Ratjabath University Udon Thani, Thailand.
