Promoting cooperation between economic universities of Vietnam and the Russian Federation

NDO - On November 26, in Moscow, within the framework of the 9th International Forum with the theme "New Economic Policy 2.0: From Adaptation to Breakthrough", organized by the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the First Meeting of the Association of Russian-Vietnamese Economic Universities took place.

Attending the event were representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Embassy of Vietnam in the Russian Federation, economic universities of Vietnam and the Russian Federation...

At the meeting, Russian and Vietnamese delegates emphasized that with the establishment of the Russia-Vietnam Economic University Association, bilateral cooperation between highereducation institutions of the two countries will have new changes, creating a flexible and effective mechanism when participating in cooperation activities in training highly qualified human resources, scientific research, technology transfer, innovation and academic exchange.

The delegates agreed to focus on developing modern educational programs in the most suitable fields to train highly qualified human resources for the economies of the two countries, promote exchanges on modern teaching methods and technologies, promote the development of joint research programs and projects, and accelerate the implementation of advanced training and professional development programs for lecturers in the fields of finance and economics in Russia and Vietnam.

Delegates expressed their belief that, with the efforts of relevant parties, the Russia-Vietnam Economic Bloc Association will not only initiate a new era in educational cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, but also create practical values ​​for students, lecturers and the scientific community of the two countries.

In addition, the participants discussed and approved the Association's founding documents, the roadmap project from 2025 to 2028 and the schedule of events in 2025.

Previously, on September 10, in Moscow, the 5th meeting of the Vietnam-Russia Education, Science and Technology Cooperation Committee took place to summarize, evaluate and review cooperation contents and determine cooperation directions for the coming period.

Within the framework of the Session, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Association of Russian-Vietnamese Economic Universities.

Accordingly, this Association includes 6 leading economic universities in Russia (Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Rostov National Economic University, Saint Petersburg National Economic University, GVPlekhanov Russian Economic University, Ural National Economic University, All-Russian Foreign Trade Academy) and 5 leading economic universities in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, National Economics University, Banking Academy of Vietnam, University of Economics under Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Hanoi University of Finance and Banking.
