“With a three-pillar orientation, Petrovietnam has established a new development strategy until 2035, with a vision to 2050, aiming to become a pillar corporation of the country’s economy, affirming its position in the region and the world ,” Mr. Tran Quang Dung emphasized. Sharing Cuba’s current difficulties, especially in the energy sector, Mr. Tran Quang Dung affirmed that Petrovietnam is ready to accompany Cuba, promoting cooperation to support sustainable socio-economic recovery and development.

PTSC representative, Mr. Le Chien Thang - Deputy General Director, also introduced that PTSC is currently the leading unit in Vietnam in providing oil and gas and industrial technical services, with a prestigious brand in the region. After more than 30 years of development, PTSC has expanded its operations to more than 10 countries and territories, with a workforce of about 10,000 people and 23 branches in Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and the Middle East. Responding to Petrovietnam's green development strategy, in 2024, PTSC has actively participated in the field of renewable energy, especially offshore wind power - a field that makes optimal use of PTSC's experience, infrastructure and available facilities. At the meeting, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the advantages, challenges and experiences in the energy sector, contributing to strengthening the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and Cuba in general, as well as between Petrovietnam and Cuban partners in particular.
