The province has achieved and exceeded 11/14 targets, failing to achieve 3 targets of Resolution No. 02-NQ/TU.
Conclusion No. 203-KL/TU, determined "by 2025, strive to have about 90km of expressway; add 14km of national highway; and have about 122km of newly built provincial road"... Accordingly, the province has focused on implementing and achieved many outstanding results. Regarding national highways, it is expected that by the end of 2025, 14/14km of National Highway 30 will be completed. Regarding expressways, it is expected that by the end of 2025, 52.01/90km of expressway will be completed. The reason when calculating the target is about 90km of expressway, including the entire Cao Lanh - An Huu expressway (project (DA) component 1 and component 2) and My An - Cao Lanh expressway, which is about 26.56km long. However, component project 2 of Cao Lanh - An Huu expressway, managed by Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee and My An - Cao Lanh expressway, managed by the Ministry of Transport, is expected to be completed after 2025.
As for provincial roads, it is expected that by the end of 2025, 96/122km of provincial roads will be completed. The reason for calculating the target of completing 122km of provincial roads includes 26km of the road infrastructure project in the South of Tien River. However, to date, the Prime Minister has not approved the project proposal, and it is expected that the project will be completed after 2025.
